Die & Mould China 2008 is jointly organized
by China Die & Mould Industry Association (CDMIA)
and Shanghai International Exhibition Co., Ltd.
(SIEC) and will be held from May 12-16, 2008 at
Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC).
Die & Mould China has been held for eleven editions
since 1986, and became the first Union des Foires
Internationales (UFI) approved event in Shanghai
in 1996. Over the past 20 years, Die & Mould
China has grown in show scale from 3,000 sq.m. in
the 1st edition to 60,000 sq.m. in the last edition
(11th edition). With the advance of show organization
and expansion of event influence, this event has
become the biggest Asia-wide and second biggest
worldwide in the die & mould and machine show
category, attracting all the top brands in the industry.
Die & Mould China 2008 will achieve an unprecedented
show scale of 80,000 sq.m.(6 halls), and the die
& mould exhibitors will occupy 25,000 sq.m.
The number of international and domestic exhibitors
will reach 1,400 and over 100,000 professional visitors
and buyers from home and abroad will attend the
show.
A number of concurrent supporting events organized
by CDMIA will be held along with Die & Mould
China 2008, including Fine Mould Award (for exhibiting
moulds) appraisal & competition, the 6th CDMIA
Congress and FADMA annual conference. The organizer
will evaluate the quality of the exhibiting moulds
and appraise the related manufacturing technology,
equipment, tools, materials and software.
