China Die & Mould Industry Association
(CDMIA) was founded in October 1984. It is the sole nationwide
organization in the trade of dies and moulds in China.
The main purpose of CDMIA is to serve its members and
assist the government by providing industry service, industry
administration, industry representation and industry coordination
so as to maintain the legitimate rights and interests
of its members, Push forward the development and technological
advancement of the die & mould industry in china,
And serve as a bridge between the die & mould enterprises
and the government.
CDMIA has presently over 1500 group members and 50 sub-associations
in all the provinces, municipalities, autonomous regions,
and major industrial cities. The local Associations are
the group members of CDMIA.
Under the Council of Directors, there are nine special
committees, i.e. Technical Committee, Operation and Management
Committee, Committee of Materials of Die & Mould,
Die & Mould standard part and component Committee,
Committee of Automobile-Body Die & Equipment, Rubber
Mould Committee, Wire Drawing Die & Mould Committee,
Committee of Economic/Technology and Information, Weapons
Die & Mould Committee, CDMIA also have Personnel Training
Department, 《China Die & Mould Information》 Editorial
Department, 《Die & Mould Industry》 Editorial Department,
Economic and Technology Consultancy Department, China
Die & Mould Industry Information Website (www.cdmia.com.cn),
The permanent working body of CDMIA is the secretariat.
China Die & Mould Industry Association is a founding
member of FADMA and a formal member of ISTMA/FADMA. CDMIA
has already established good relations with die and mould
industries in various countries and/or regions.
As a subsidiary of China Council for the
Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Shanghai Sub-Council,
Shanghai International Exhibition Co., Ltd. (SIEC) was
founded on 1st July 1984. When Shanghai World Expo (Group)
Co., Ltd. was established in February 2004, SIEC came
to be jointly invested by Shanghai World Expo (Group)
Co., Ltd and CCPIT Shanghai Sub-Council.
Since its founding, SIEC has held 500 large/medium-sized
international exhibitions of various themes in China and
has created a number of well-known and influential exhibitions
brands. In addition, SIEC has successfully organized many
solo exhibitions for foreign countries.
SIEC has been a full member of Union des Foires International
(UFI) since 1996. Die & Mould China and Auto Shanghai
and China International Dye Industry, Pigments and Textile
Chemicals Exhibition are the approved events of UFI.
